Samantha Coker-Godson

Founder, Dharma Circle

Samantha is an authorised Dharma teacher in the Insight Meditation tradition, Yoga teacher, and a Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Samantha has been practicing meditation for about 30 years and is blessed to have the ongoing guidance and support of her much loved teacher –  Christopher Titmuss. Samantha has also had the privilege of spending time with other great Buddhist teachers including His Eminence Dzogchen Rinpoche and Zen Master Hogen-san.

In 2004, Samantha completed her Yoga teacher training with Paul Wooden, bringing together her affinity for the teachings of the Buddha with the wisdom of the Yogic path. She also has spent time with other wonderful Yogis including Clive Sheridan and Donna Farhi.

Samantha's classes are marked by a clear and tangible intention to encourage a fresh and awake attitude to practice – and to everyday life. Happily influenced by more than 20 years of clinical experience working with Chinese Medicine and various body based modalities including Cranio Sacral therapy, Samantha has a love for exploring the subtle currents of life. She has a unique way of bringing attention to and playing with our tendencies of resistance while at the same time pointing to the uncontrived presence and easeful sense of possibility in us all.  Samantha's classes and retreats bring the wisdom traditions to life in sometimes unconventional ways. Her engagement and teaching style is grounded and opening, encouraging a vivid and insightful relationship with our deepest life.
